What to Know: Rooms are $179 plus taxes and fees, or approximately $208/night.  (This amount is an estimate; the hotel will confirm all final costs.)  The special room rate closes September 6, 2024.

Use this link to make your reservation.  When you make your reservation, reference the OHHS 50th HS Reunion SEP 2024 rate.  A credit card will hold your room, but you will not be charged until the end of your stay.  If you must cancel, there is no fee to cancel before September 25, 2024.

TIPS FOR ON-SHORE EXCURSIONS

 

Driving in the Region:

  • Need a car?  Save with off-airport car rentals by reserving your car at the Sheraton Suites hotel.

  • All toll roads in the area use electronic tolling via EZ-Pass, credit card, or toll by mail.

  • D.C. traffic is just as crazy as ever!

 

Public Transportation Options:

  • DASH bus, a free bus service for the City of Alexandria.

  • WMATA is the bus and subway system in the Metro region.  The subway serves:

    • Dulles International Airport (requires transfers and a bus)

    • Reagan National Airport

    • Washington DC, and

    • Close in suburbs in Virginia and Maryland.

  • From Dulles or Baltimore Washington International (BWI) airports, shuttles are quicker and more convenient.

  • Call the hotel to reserve free shuttle service from the Reagan National Airport; shuttles run between 7 am – 11 pm.

 

Museums and More:

  • If you haven’t been to the Washington DC area in a while, the Smithsonian Museums are still free; however, some require reserving tickets for timed entry.  Check first to stave off disappointment.

  • Visiting the high school; check back for tour options.

  • Pretend you are skipping school and visit Topgolf, right on Clipper Way heading to the new school.
